Can't stop - she won't stop!


A few blog posts ago, I shared with you 5 kick-ass wholesalers to watch in 2011, and my business partner, Margaret Refile, was one of them.


True to form, Margaret took advantage of an opportunity that presented itself (while the rest of us were walking to go tour one of Marcel Umphery's and Mike Jones' rehab properties), seized the moment and started speaking with a NOSY neighbor (nosy neighbor's will tell you everything, given the opportunity) who obviously was curious as to why all these people were invading his neighborhood.


Eager to talk, Kevin started spilling the beans about a few vacant properties in the area. I'm sure if Margaret pressed him about where to find a certain property owner, he would've given up the 411 on them too!


Seriously though, striking up a conversation with folks really isn't all that difficult. And you don't have to wait for a bus tour to do it (smile). Having done it countless times myself, you never know where it may lead you - maybe to your next smoking deal.


So, the next time you're waiting in line at Dunkin' Donuts (my favorite spot), waiting to have your car serviced, or picking up that pizza to go, FIND reasons to let people know what you do.


Who knows - you might stumble upon a Kevin.
